Strange sound in laptop

Hi, I just installed Windows 7 on a Packard Bell laptop, and the sound is like it's coming from a radio :s Any ideas?

Try installing the correct audio driver. what audio card or chipset?

No idea, this is a packard bell easynote model HERCO, cant find anything on the web about it.
