How do I create a customized Windows 7 ISO?

I would like to take a CLEAN Windows 7 Ultimate FINAL version and edit it.
Make it better!

Remove sh*t.
Add Languages
Add themes.

Stuff like that.

So here's my question:
How?

:)

Depending on what you are trying to do,

You could use dism to e.g. add language packs. If you remove anything with dism - it doesn't seem to get any smaller , so imagex export after the fact should do it.

Otherwise, do an installation., set it up how you like, sysprep it and capture with imagex.

I think what he wants is something like nLite for WinXP but compatible with Win7. Am I right?

EDIT: After a 10 sec Google search I found RT Se7en Lite.

RT7lite is a great little program, but you have to have WAIK installed to use it. It is now in it's 7th beta build and keeps getting better. If you tried it and didn't like it in the past, I suggest trying it again. I can never understand why people that try a beta version of something, especially a very early beta build of a brand new software, and immediately write it off as bad software when the beta doesn't function properly.

Depends what you remove - just using the components section ( don't remove IE ) works fine for me.

Yes , that's why I said a little while back - it might be working better now, obviously.

I certainly do not write it off as bad software.

The Waik requirement will be offputting for some of course.
