Ok so I haven't bought many power supplies before, and I'm wanting to buy a new one, but I need to know how many hard drives a good power supply can power because right now I have a 450 Watt power supply made by BFG Tech that can only power 2 hard drives. I want a power supply that can power a lot of hard drives because I have 4 hard drives, but can only use 2 of them at a time on this power supply. And I want a power supply that can power more than 4 hard drives because I will definitely be buying more hard drives. So if anyone has any info on where I can buy a good power supply for a really good price and that can power a lot of hard drives and power a high end graphics card then I'd appreciate any info you can tell me.

You can always buy the 4 pin molexs to sata power connectors for your hard drives, assuming that they are sata.

Yes they are all Western Digital Sata drives, but I need a new Power Supply because mine doesn't have enough watts for what I wanna upgrade my system to.

Oh, in that case, you should look at the requirements of the hardware that you are planning to get in deciding your power supply. Generally, a 650 watt power supply with a 80+ efficiency rating should be sufficient. Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Computer Cases,Power Supplies,601 - 700W

Another great resource into the workings of PSU's would be PC Power and Cooling...
Very informative...and a ton of material...
