Hey I know this has been asked a couple times but im just getting a checkup, does anyone know if there is any way to make windows 7 look more like ubuntu with the 2 taskbars? I really do like the way ubuntu is set up witht he top taskbar displaying all the information like the network status, times, etc.

You're welcome. I was doing this crap before Windows ever came along. It's the same bits, different day...

do you know anything else like that, cuz thats close to what i want and it has helped me get on the right direction but I am looking for something that will give a little closer look to ubuntu.

That's the best thing for customization and they are well on their way to releasing the best Gnomish shell for 7. Have you tried it yet? You might want to wait a little for them to put the installer together if you're not experienced with shell replacement. Read their forums --they are usually very helpful.

yea just tested it. its very quick and simple you click the setshell and restart its was pretty simple. I am generally pretty good with computers anyways so i can usually figure stuff out with a little time.
