
I think Bluetooth is the answer to avoid tying up a USB (I have only 3) but would need rechargable battery (as my wife would never turn it off) Auto switch off would be good too.
I don't know whether that Logitech mouse has a built in rechargeable battery. If it does, I'd stay away from such product. It's much more practical to use a normal battery type of mouse, AA or AAA.
I dont think this is possible as the antenna/receiver for the mouse has to be connected to your computer via a USB port.... if you are concerned about not having enough USB ports, you can add a USB hub for around $10.00...![]()
If your laptop has built in bluetooth it "might" be possible. I say might because some manufacturers bluetooth devices are crippled so they only work with their specific USB bluetooth adapter. My father has an Acer laptop and his mouse works with the built in bluetooth but his keyboard doesn't, so he still ends up using a USB bluetooth adapter. I think they are both Logitech so go figure.
