Change Power, Wifi, and Volume Icons

Is it possible to change the icons in the system tray like the Power, Wifi, and Volume?
Example:

EDIT: If possible i would like to be able to make my own images for it.

That tutorial is for changing desktop icons.
I already looked through all the tutorials and couldn't find anything to change these system tray icons.
