Internet Explorer 9 beta: The beauty of the web

Ok i cant unistall IE9 so i dont know what to do.

It's listed as an unpdate in the Add Remove section. Threw me for a loop at first too.

I think it is installed as an update. It would be un install programs and on the left view updates. Then you would have to find the update. Right click uninstall.

Go to "Control Panel" "Programs" "Programs and Features" and on the right "View Installed Updates" then you'll find IE9.

to find which update it is. Right click on installed tab. A drop down menu will ask you for when. Select today and you will see the ie9 update.

Hmmm took about 3-4 minutes to install, needed to download a few updates.

Amazingly quick loading webpages, by far the speediest browser I've used.

So far, so good.

I started using it and I really was not expecting much but so far I really like it.

I like the fact you can pin your favorite bookmarks and that makes easy access to where I want to go! Overall so far so good I am enjoying it!

Seeing a lot of people having trouble with un/reinstalls... Guys, it goes without saying, installing a beta product of something that is as integrated with the Windows system as IE is - make a backup image or at least a system restore point first!

I love it, its now my defualt broswer.

It wont let me install it on my Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. "This service pack is not supported by setup." Or whatever. I am not using any service packs.

Ok so I unistalled i and reinstalled it and the Groove GFS Browser helper i mentioned stayed disabled this time so I dont know. The search suggestions still arent working. I like IE9 for everything else though.

Loving it so far (64 bit version w/ 64 bit Flash)! Noticeably "quicker" than IE 8. Only real negative so far is the slightly "fuzzy" font rendering on some websites (like Neowin), which is being laid at the feet of the GPU acceleration by some of the posters there. SevenForums is looking good though!

Have you checked this setting? :

put your cursor in the gap between the address bar and the first tab
- you can drag it to make it wider..

you heard it here first, folks..!!

you can unlock the toolbars to move those little icons on the top right of the screen
I shoved mine over to the left - then re-locked it to keep them there..
