You may be screwed unless you can copy-out that data using the method outlined in this tutorial.
Thanks for the help guys.
Damn better just get a new hard drive and install windows again cause I have a lot of stuff I need and personal items on that hard drive.
Just one more question when I get the new hd can I take the data from the hard drive that failed installation?
I didnt in the first post but in the second because it was mentioned in the quote as the grub loader.
But that is gone. Even if I could boot into ubuntu and burn the iso to the disc I would be overjoyed xD
You can also use Paragon Rescue CD to copy out your data if it is intact: Paragon rescue disk; change drive letter; recover data
You needed the Win7 Installation DVD for getting the best install, reinstalls and Repairs as you're discovering. I would burn ISO to DVD, or write to flash stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in the dropdown menu then boot under USB, Removable or HD's.
Boot the installer, copy out your files if necessary, then use Custom install>Drive Options to delete all partitions, create new ones as desired, then format before installing Win7. Clean Install Windows 7
Or follow these steps: Dual-Boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu in Perfect Harmony
