Windows 7: Transcode 360, My Movies, 64 bit

Windows 7
Transcode 360, My Movies, 64 bit

Does anyone have transcode 360 working with mymovies in a 64-bit environment? I've read a couple guides, but I'm unable to get it to work.

I keep getting "Unable to communicate with Transcode 360" when trying to stream from mymovies. Transcoding works outside of mymovies.

I gave up trying as soon as the x86 build dropped. It'll likely be another year before I try 64 bit.

Vista, Windows 7
My Movies & Transcode360 64Bit

Yes the issue is with My Movies
As the development of Transcode360 stopped the guys at My Movies stopped supporting it although they still have the option in my Movies the problem is there version of the transcode360.interface.dll file is old Version 1.4.1 which works with the Transcode360 4.1 and the Vista 4.6 version which has version 1.6.0 version of the dll.
The only version of Transcode360 that works fine on a 64bit is the 1.63 version which has been written by one of the guys in .Net2.0 and the dll file has been change completely so thats why My Movies fails to communicate. I even tried replacing the dll in My Movies with the newer version but that didn't work, the call routine to the DLL is different in 1.63
My solution which has worked for me for over a year now is to have 1.60 on the Media Centre and on a separate PC have the 1.63 running. so that way the communication between my movies and Transcode360 works and the Transcoding is done by the other pc and transfered back to the Media centres shared drive.

Vista, Windows 7

Well as far as my understanding is the this solution would work either way
whether your just having issues with Vista and Transcode pushing the transcoding onto another more stable platform version (ie xp Transcode 1.60 that would be finebut with either one you need to have an uptodate memplayer or use vlc as the transcode engine
if you ripp the DVD to hard drive and leave them in VOB files make sure you remove all menu's and sub sections (just ripp the Main movie) as vlc or memplay get confused with what needs to be transcoded across.
