How to delete a network place ?

Discovered awhile back that one of my W7 PC's in my home network had "joined" a Win 7 HomeGroup inadvertently:
Can't leave unwanted Homegroup ?

While successful in this thanks to Seven Forums help...I now can not access the subject PC through the normal home network. I keep getting an access denied pop-up which hadn't occurred before ?

see attached network screen shot

I'm trying to delete the one problem computer shown in the Network - MARYANN-PC - hoping that re-establishing it without the HomeGroup membership will solve the issue...?...but I can't figure or find a way to delete/remove MARYANN-PC from the network ?

How can I remove this one desktop so I can re-joint MARYANN-PC to the group ?

I had the same problem. Microsoft decided to make this difficult for non-advanced users:

1. Open a command prompt
2. Type "net use" (no quotes) to see a list of networks
3. Type "net use /delete" (no quotes) and the exact name of the network from the list you just generated.

A more detailed explanation is here:

I don't think the connection trinaz showed is a mapped (net use) connection.

If not, try this:

Click Start
Type View network connections then click on View network connections at the top.
Right click the connection you want to get rid of and click Delete.
