Windows 7x64 Home Premium SP1

I was thinking of using SpeedFan but it doesn't appear in the free programs list.
Does anyone know of a problem with this program.
(Well known for system temperature monitoring)

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate: x64 (SP1)

The only problem I experienced, is when I run it, it makes some small vertical lines in the background because it's monitoring your temperature.

This is why I recommend Everest. Even though it's not free.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, Windows 8.1 Pro x64, Windows 10 Pro x64

I've used Speedfan for years for fan speed control and temp monitoring with no problems at all.
Sometimes it takes a bit of investigating to determine what temps are what.

I mostly use Aida64 (replacement for Everest) for monitoring now but it is not free. A great program though.

Ubuntu 12.10

Personally I use either Speccy or HWMonitor, both free and do the job nicely.

Windows 7x64 Home Premium SP1

I get temperature readouts from the ASUS Motherboard tool and programs like SIW. The outputs can be a bit misleading so I wanted a better understanding and monitoring tool.
ie. I want a handle on T(junction), T(case), T(CPU) and some confidence that the tool is measuring these parameters.

Hi, I need some help setting up SpeedFan. I didn't use this program before. The goal is to have automatic fan control (balance between noise PC and cool PC) but I can't even get it to control CPU fan speed manually as it's confusing. I can control the GPU fan speed though. Here are...

My HDD doesn't show nothing apart from cpu, any ideas!? I need to make my fan go faster, its like...
SpeedFan 4.40
I've been using SF for quite some time, even though it seems to never detect everything that it should, but usually once it has been installed, it generally continue detecting whatever it has found, unless there is some kind of hardware problem. However, at the last reboot it popped a dialog...
