SOLVED : 116 stop error BSOD with USB hub, after logging into windows

With win 7 64 bit, I have noticed that my laptop will BSOD with a 116 stop error pointing to nvlddmkm.sys if i attempt to login to windows too quickly (right after i get the login prompt).

If i wait a few minutes before logging in, or i unplug the usb hub, i do not get a BSOD.

I have a minidump file, but unfortunately its not very descriptive (see attached file).

I tried talking to nvidia live chat but they basically said its not their drivers, they cant figure out what causes it exactly and they could only suggest very generic stuff (reinstall windows, etc) which weren't very helpful.

Ive done the usual troubleshooting steps (uninstalling drivers via DDU, using latest drivers, using multiple driver versions, etc) and have followed the 116 stop error troubleshooting guide, but havent had much luck.

Does anyone happen to know why my usb hub would be causing a display driver timeout? I dont see why they would be related...the hub itself functions perfectly.

Should i try modifying some of the registry settings to incrase the timeout threshold as listed here? TDR Registry Keys (Windows Drivers)

Seems to have been solved after uninstalling with DDU and upgrading to the latest drivers (again).
