Solved 2.5 Days and still win 7 does not see second drive.

Well, I tried everything, but had to resort to Restore. Running well now and I have followed a few of the headings in the 'Tutorials' Performance and Maintenence, Speed-up Windows 7. I will leave things as they are for now, But! if anyone gets to the bottom of Disk Type 'UNKNOWN' please drop me a line on the Forum.

btw; If any of you guys are thinking of coming to the UK for break, let me know. I live in East Anglia, near the North Sea. You are welcome to bed down, free of charge if you come and see me. I live about 40 miles from London.

I thought I should put some input to this great Forum. One of the sites I gleaned some help from, but be warned, (it is a French site), is: Station-Drivers: le site de drivers, bios, firmwares avec un forum d'aide I think I might have seen this website on this Forum? if not another. There is quite a large data base for most PC Components and Accessories, that is where I found most of mine. Enjoy.
