I really need help here, when i run Warcraft III on my dell inspiron it has 2 black bar at the left and right of the screen.
it runs just fine in vista but i have this issue after installing window 7.
any idea how to fix this?

already set it to 1366x768(which is my screen res) resolution but with no luck.
i never encounter this problem before so i run another game and it completely fine and fullscreen (Worms 3D)

im using the build in graphic card i think its the express chipset.
anyone know how to fix this??

thx.

Sometimes you have to change the rendering options, though I don't know if that's true in WC3.

I know in Diablo 2 (a slightly older Blizzard title) you had to use a Glide Wrapper to get Widescreen support. WC3 may be the same way, but I would see if there are other rendering options in the Video Settings of WC3, if what the above poster suggested doesn't work out.

Somewhere in the Intel Utility look for a scaling option.

In Desktop Displays, make sure the options match your monitor's info, and ensure the game has the right resolution. Also, use the drivers guide in my sig to update your drivers.

If the game isn't running properly, a lower resolution will help, although it may affect the resolution. Fill in your system specs and the game - use the preparation section of the troubleshooting guide in my sig. Try the info in the above post too.

how can i do it with ati ccc????

Go to the catalyst control center, click on "video", then remove the check on "use application settings"... You'll need to open the control center on advanced mode to do that... I also changed the 3D settings back to balanced as I'm on a integrated GPU, and this seems to work, not only on Warcraft III but also on other games as well... Hope this helps!
