20 GB HDD worth 40 euros?

I just found an HDD around the house, a Seagate ST320014A, looked it up, 20 GB, 40 euros.
From what I found, it's not a SSD. It's old as well. Any idea what's going on with this HDD?

It's a old hhd that may be worth $10-20us. You can buy a 1tb wd for $60 and that's killed resale on small used drives. It's a great drive for a Linux install. I'd install Zorin OS 7 and see if you like it. It's all free.

I can't see anyone other than, maybe, a collector or someone restoring a vintage machine paying $40 euros for that drive, especially one that's around 10 years old and is IDE. For 40 euros, one could easily get a 750GB to 1TB SATA HDD.

The price if used items is governed by supply and demand. There is a demand for such drives for use in old computers that do not support SATA. But in a day when such drives are being thrown out this one is clearly overpriced. Maybe the seller doesn't know?
