2mins delay during boot after "loading windows files" before Desktop
Hi everyone,
I have had a search around for the issue I am having but I find it hard to explain.
I currently run windows of a crucial m400 SSD and it used to boot in less than a minute. More recently (and apparently overnight) boot time became several minutes.
I turned on verbose boot and it loads the files very quickly (just scans quickly infront of me) and then when it comes to the screen that reads the following (and see attached):
"Microsoft (R) Windows (R) Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
8 System Processors [8184 MB Memory] Multiprocessor Kernel"
It sits there for several minutes before then loading the desktop.
I am unsure how to diagnose this issue further and would greatly appreciate some guidance onto how to drill down into this further.
Thanks,
Chalima
