Hi:
I have an HP HDX 16 premium notebook (64 bit), which I purchased in August '09. Have not had any trouble till now. It has windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) installed.
In the last few days I have gotten 3 blue screens for no apparent reason.
Here is the information from the 3 BSOD’s which I retrieved from the program Blue Screen View:

121510-25287-01.dmp 12/15/2010 12:09:19 PM BAD_POOL_HEADER 0x00000019 00000000`00000003 fffff800`02e171e0 fffff800`00000048 00000528`00001000 tcpip.sys tcpip.sys+143280 x64 C:\Windows\Minidump\121510-25287-01.dmp 2 15 7600

121210-25443-01.dmp 12/12/2010 12:01:52 PM IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x0000000a fffffa7f`f5afffd8 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000001 fffff800`02ca23a4 ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+70740 NT Kernel & System Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Microsoft Corporation 6.1.7600.16617 (win7_gdr.100618-1621) x64 C:\Windows\Minidump\121210-25443-01.dmp 2 15 7600

This program also identified notskrnl.exe as present in the stack for the first two crashes listed above.

Here is what I have done to troubleshoot:

1. I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic from Administrative Tools and it indicated the memory had no problems.
2. I ran 2 virus scans (Malware Bytes and Kaspersky Anti-Virus Tool) and no viruses were identified.
3. I generated a system health report, and discovered that the computer failed 2 of the 5 Basic System Checks:
• System Service Checks Failed Checks for state of system services
• Hardware Device and Driver Checks Failed Survey of Windows Management Infrastructure supported devices.

Recent new hardware:
• a logictech m310 mouse (3 weeks ago & driver appears fine)
• a new power cord (purchased on ebay 3 weeks ago, but with the exact same model number as the original)
• an old line conditioner - connected 1 or 2 days before first bsod (hasn’t been used in several years but appears to be functioning fine - but timing here correlates with bsod's)

Could any of these be causing the problem?
Is the fact that ntoskrnl.exe appears in the three stacks significant?
I am hoping someone can put all this information together to help me identify the probable cause of the blue screens.

I would really appreciate your help.
