3 GB RAM 2.5 GB Usable

Hello,
I have windows 7 final installed on my machine with 3 GB Physical Memory Installed. But when I Go to Control Panel => System it shows that RAM : 3.00 GB (2.50 Usable). OS is 32 bit & Processor also. Please help me with this!

I assume you have two 1GB and two 0.5GB RAM? Maybe one broken? Did you run memtest or something? Ho much RAM does it show in BIOS? If BIOS only shows 2.5 GB, then RAM is kaputt. but it also could be hlaf-kaputt and BIOS recognizes it, but W7 is more critical about it.

if your graphics are integrated windows doesnt count the memory needed by the graphics card as usable RAM.

I Have 3 DDR2 RAM Modules 1 GB Each and Graphics Card nVIDIA 8600GT with 1 GB DDR2 Memory.
