Just browsing the internet and listening to music each time.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64 OEM
Only hardware changes are installed a new sound card a few weeks ago (Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD), and just got a new keyboard (Ducky Shining).

Attached is a zip containing a bluescreenview report, the perfmon report and the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 folder.

Hopefully someone has an idea what is going on.

  • We do not recommend automated driver update software. It often finds drivers for devices similar to but not exactly the same as the hardware actually on the system. This can lead to conflicts and blue screen crashes. If you need help finding driver updates for a certain device, please start a thread in Drivers - Windows 7 Forums instead of using software. Driver updates are not always necessary and some updates can actually decrease system stability rather than increase it, so it is usually better not to update unless a device or its driver is causing problems with the system. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

  • AMD Overdrive provides software overclocking for the system. It is known to cause instability because software overclocking is an unreliable method for overclocking hardware. Please remove the software.

  • The ASUS update utility can cause problems since its drivers are older. Recommend removing it.

  • MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner is known to cause instability with systems. Please remove the software.

Crashes have a variety of BugChecks and probable causes including software/driver/software overclocking issues. The above should be dealt with first to rule it out.

Thanks for the help. I am aware that the audio device is disabled, and I disabled it because I have installed a new soundcard, so I do not need the on-board sound. I have also removed all of the problematic software, other than MSI afterburner because it is the only OC tool that works with crossfire fan profiles.

If you are going to use MSI Afterburner, then make sure it is up to date. I believe there is a newer version than the one you are using.
