Can you Dual Boot 64 and 32?

I have it dual booting vista & 32win7 right now. I downloaded 64 just now and want to run it but DO not feel like reinstalling everything!! soo im wondering if I can add a 3rd operating system?
If I can... what program can I use to add a partition to my Drive without starting from scratch?? Ive always just partitioned with fdisk from a clean disk.

If I can't have a 3rd op I guess I'll just put in another HDD and change the boot sequence.

IMO there is no need for 32bit these days, unless your computer doesn't support 64bit.
My case here  It's Intel Yonah from 2006. Well it does what needed for me at moment, so yea, 32bit with 2gb RAM :geek:

I got a question related to the 32-64 bit choice. Here's the hardware:

Shuttle PC w/ HDMI (SG33G5)
Q6600 Processor
750GB Sata HD
LG Blue Ray Reader
4 GB RAM
Gyration MCE Remote

It's a media center PC and all indication leads me to choose the 64bit OS however with my hardware will I have issues with drivers? Mainly the remote and software for the Blue Ray drive. Any ideas? Or should I play it safe with 32bit for now. I'm a bit behind in the 32 bit / 64 bit capabilities and I know there's been software compatibility issues and the such.

Any help is appreciated :)

I have a AMD 4200+ with 4GB of RAM I am throwing the 64bit on.

I also have 2 other systems I am gonna test the 32 bit versions on as well.

My Acer Aspire 9804 Laptop Dual Core 2GHz with 2GB ram

The kids computer Dell Dimension 2400 2.4GHz with 1GB of RAM(just to see how it handles it)

I'll get 64bit, it's twice as smart. ;)

It plays all my games better than ever, SNES NES GT3 up to COD 4, 5 GTA 4 Fear NFSMW, all work flawless.
I'm excited and sad at the same time.
Sad I bought Vista 32bit when it came out and not 64
But drivers were few and I was on A7N8X

Yes

Back up Vista on DVD'S and install win7 on the old vista partition after fomatting it at install gui.
You may wanna copy your favorites folder and %userprofile% folders for your personal stuff.
Other than that and dual boot, you cant upgrade 32bit to 64bit.........can you?

Hello gebe, welcome to Se7en Forums!

If you are trying to upgrade your 32-bit Vista to a 64-bit Windows 7; it is not possible. You will have to do a clean (fresh) install. Be sure to backup anything that you don't want to lose before you do so.

Here is a better option, (still make backups) at the link below; as you will still have an OS to use when 7 stops working in August.

So far I've got 64 on my Athalon 64 2000+, and a Gateway core 2 duo.
And 32 on a Dell optiplex 3.2ghz, and a Dell dimension P-4???
I intend to be like Johnny Appleseed and sew 7 from one end of this great state to the other, I'm having so much fun with this.
