4 of 120 PC's periodically think not genuine

We have 120 pc's on our LAN. All were created from the same master image. 95% of the pc's are fine (were activated initially without problem). 4 of the PC's periodically lose the activation and report as being not genuine.

You have an 'out of tolerance' error - the hardware appears to be changing.
This may be because of physical hardware changes, or because of things like changing the MAC address of an NIC.

Were the faulting machines activated with external/swappable hardware attached?

Thanks! Had used USB Wifi Adapter cause proxy problems . .

Thank you so much!

Because we had problem activating through our proxy environment, we used a USB wifi adapter for activation.

It makes total sense that if we then remove the USB, maybe the mac change would be mistaken for a new motherboard or something?

We just designated a particular IP which has direct outside access for I just activated one of the problem machines using that method.

I'm very hopeful this might solve the problem.
