5.1 on hp probook 4720s

Hello

Please help me with a problem :
I have conected my laptop with tv and home cinema by hdmi but is working only 2.1
If i go on control panel -sound - ati hdmi output -configure the only option is stereo.
How i can configure to go 5.1 ?

On many systems, two channel stereo is all that is available. It can be hardware limitations and with a laptop there isn't much you can do.

I can't find anything on HP or other sites to confirm just stereo, but if that is all you are getting I suspect that is it. This is sold as a "business" laptop so it may not have all the Media features a "non business" or "consumer" model may have.

probably you are right fireberd ......but even if is a "bussines" laptop you can hear good 5.1 music
i tried to install some 5.1 sound drivers but is not working
