5770 HDMI Display

So I've bought a XFX 5770

Downloaded all the latest Drivers for the Card

when i Plug in the HDMI to my HD Telly which currently is limited to 1360 x 768 it detects the HDMI and shows it as a Second Display

Questions ?

Can I use this as my Primary Display and Unplug the VGA Cable and if i do that will i get sound still ?

Will i need a New Display Driver

Windows 7 64 bit Op System

You should be able to use it as a primary monitor (and I bet it looks fantastic too). The sound I am not sure about...if you want to test yourself than that might be the best. No new driver should be needed unless your driver you installed turns out to be faulty...

Got the HDMI Output on me Telly Working No Sound

but i have a Cunning Plan

Monday me 46" Sony TV with Optical Out an 1920 x 1080 output will be here and i have a Optical Input on anutha System i can borrow hopefully

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray. Click playback devices. Choose the ATI one as the default playback device. If it's not there, right click in the middle somewhere and click "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices."

Result got me 46" Telly connected the PS3 the 5-1 Sony Home Cinema

then the PC though the Cards HDMI to the telly followed by selecting the ATI HDMI Sound

now got everything though the TV with sound and great picture Qualitly
