I get a 7e BSoD error every now and then. In a month and a half I have received 3, so it isn't exactly an every day thing. My CPU, Mobo, and GPU are all new. It has always happened when I am playing games, but considering that is mostly what I use my PC for that shouldn't be a surprise. Any help is appreciated, and if you need more information I am glad to supply it.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
AMD Radeon HD 7800 series GPU

Both of your dumps are down to your ATI driver.

Code:
[B][COLOR=Red]*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys[/COLOR][/B]
 atikmpag+0xac71
:ar: Download the 13.9 driver from herethen use AMD Uninstall Utility to remove all traces of your current driver, CCC etc. Reboot and install the 13.9 driver.

   Note
When installing choose 'Advanced' or 'Custom' (whichever option is available, just not Express) and uncheck everything except the video driver.

:ar: Uninstall DaemonTools, a known cause of BSODs.

Code:
[FONT=&quot]DAEMON Tools Lite  "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -autorun[/FONT]
1. Uninstall Daemon Tools.
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
3. Double click the executable to open it
4. Click the button shown below

321053d1402310370-bsod-when-closing-my-games-uninstall-daemon-tools.jpg

If the button it is grayed out, as shown in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can just close the window.

Now to be clear here, did you want me to only uninstall my gpu driver, or all of them. I think I got a little confused with your wording and the link you provided being the "uninstall everything".

Edit: Also if you wanted me to uninstall everything; is there a reason why I shouldn't install CCC and some of the other options?

That tool will remove all components of the AMD graphics package you have installed, all your other drivers will remain untouched. The reason for installing the video driver only is to avoid conflicts with HD Audio or any other components that are installed along with it.

Complete the steps, test, then report back.

Everything seems to be running fine. I did as you said, but I'm not sure how long until I get a BSOD, if I even get one.

Hopefully you won't. Give it a week or so of testing and then mark the thread solved if you're happy. If you do get any more BSODs then post up the logs, you can always mark the thread as Unsolved if it happens again.

There's not much being given away in the logs, but a 0xAB could well be your video driver. Can you update your driver to the next working version, test and upload any new BSOD if and when it occurs. It may be a case of working your way through the drivers. Use the same procedure as before to install any new drivers.

Previous AMD Catalyst drivers

I've always hated the AMD website, but I can't seem to get around to getting the next driver after 13.9. I need to get some sleep since I work nights, but when I get up later I'll run through it and get everything done if you could tell me how to navigate that website.

Here's 14.4, may as well give that a try with a clean install.
