Yes..I created the folder originally on the Desktop and renamed it too szzab

Aha - I know what the problem is!!

It's a complication caused by having two distinct words in the Username.

Try these commands instead....

DEL C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS
COPY "%userprofile%\desktop\szzab\COMPONENTS" C:\Windows\System32\config

That's OK - it was only there n case Windows had rebuilt the file (again)

reboot and run CheckSUR again, then run SFC /SCANNOW and post the new CBS folder complete.

See what happens if you attempt a Search for updates, and try installing only the oldest found update.
either way, post the new c:\windows\windowsupdate.log file before attempting anything further.
If the install works, try the remaining updates.

Unfortunately, Defender updates are a law unto themselves (by design) and don't have the same background that ordinary OS files do.

Just in case - please post the new CBS.log file (only - you'll have to copy it to the desktop first before zipping it for upload)

Open an Elevated COmmand Prompt WIndow, and run the following command

IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

close the window, and try another check for updates.

There's two ways to go on this - either revert the change I already made and try a different route, or carry on attempting to repair a domino-chain of errors.

The second option is likely to be lengthy.

I also still think that a repair install is your best option now.
