Bugcheck 101 is mainly caused by a defective CPU or outdated BIOS

Details about this bugcheck:

Win 7 A Clock Interrupt... BSOD (101 Error)

Go to your motherboard's website and check your version of your BIOS. See if there are any problems you are having that are solved by a a later version. I do not often recommend flashing the BIOS because there is a risk involved. If there is problem addressed by a BIOS that applies to your computer, consider flashing your BIOS to the latest version. If you choose to do this, flash you BIOS outside of Windows.

Run Prime 95 again to test your CPU and your ram. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial:
CPU - Stress Test with Prime95. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.

Just download the latest BIOS from your motherboard manufacturer's website, run the .exe or the updater to update the BIOS
Run Prime95, it will test your CPU and report any errors

Is your CPU overclocked?

Your motherboard vendor should provide a utility (and yes, unfortunately, most still use DOS utilities to flash the BIOS) and documentation on how to perform the actual upgrade.

If you have a USB key, you can make it DOS-bootable by following the tutorial here, and then copy the utility to the USB key and run it from there. Also, see this post for more information as necessary.

That's up to you - I would say I'd prefer Windows, then DOS, then Instant, in that order, if it was me. If there's a Windows utility, I would suggest that over DOS or Instant.

ive been getting these BSOD'S quite frequently i think i may need a new cpu or ram plz help

The error message tells you that it is a bad secondary core on your CPU. If it is still under warranty, get it replaced. I updated the BIOS on mine & it did nothing to help this problem. Bad CPU. RMA or buy a new one. I would get a different model of that CPU if this one gave you problems. If you have a Phenom, I would replace it with a Phenom II. Regular Phenom's had all kinds of problems. Phenom II's are doing much better so far.

IMHO

it happens too often, to many, to be a bad cpu/core. it's windows related more often than not, and most likely can be corrected by a win hotfix.
