It specifically says to save your network adapter in backup so you have it to get online.
I dont' think you've followed the tutorial at all which is a shame since you had this chance to get the one perfect install you'd never have to do again, and I was here to help you.

I think you are being a little harsh for someone who seems to be a helpful guy. I did see that it said "Just in case" you need it. I knew that I could get it from my other computer anyway, so I skipped it and got caught. It does not mean that I am ignoring your procedure completely it is definitely helping to guide me along for a guy who does this as infrequently as possible.
