a problem with the driver of my Emachines 355 camera i cant find it

hi guys , i have a problem with my emachines 355 camera driver , i install all the drivers but doenst work

Hello and welcome yassi now just so I have it correct the camera is hooked up via a USB cable?

Also what is the brand of the camera if it did not come with the emachine?

This could also be a malfunctioning camera too or the cable it is attached to.

Ok I thought it was a USB camera being listed in that first pic as one

Now run this

Using HW Info general components

Download HW Info and pick the right bit version - HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download - (copy and paste this site into the search bar) If you do not need the running information in the smaller right hand panel close it. In the left hand window click on the + for the individual device groupings and they will open out to the various components.

Go on opening out further until you get to the device itself. click on it and it will highlight. In the right hand window there will be a very detailed description of that device as in brand, speeds model number etc etc These are very detailed and are just what is needed for searching for drivers etc.

See my pic for an example - in this I have opened out one my components and then highlighted one of the one you need and you can see the detail.
See if you can find that device in the listings.

Yassiharine I am assuming you are asking where the camera is listed so look at my pics try the ones I have circled and then look at what I have opened out in my laptop there maybe something along with the keyboard and mouse (mine are both wired and the touchpad disabled)

Hum not picking the camera up as I had hoped Now on this site it has the drivers. Now you might not be aware but when machines are made they are called as yours is eMachine 355 but there is usually a sub model number that comes after the model number you see like this here
Acer eMachines 355-N571G25ikk
Now to get the drivers one is best quoting this as well as the model number alone
For example my laptop is a Toshiba L550 Satellite but it has a Part NO as well - as you can see in my pic.

Therefore when looking for drivers and parts you are far more likely to find what you want because that "PART NO" is specific to the region the machine was made for or intended to be used in.
So can you have a careful look on the underside of the machine and see if it has any add on numbers to the model number please.

There are driver search programs we could use but I am personally very loathe to use them as they invariably pester you with ads and give you updates that are sometimes not even needed.
