Accessing Blocked Websites

Hi was just wondering how i could use software such as hotspot shield without compromising my internet speed any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

my school has blocked alot of websites that i want to go to so i use hotspot shield a vpn provider program, however when i use it my internet speed suffers dramatically which is a serious pain in the ass i was just wondering if there are similar free programs which i could use which wont compromise my internet speed.

the internet is about freedom. no organization, person, or company should be blocking anything. if the school wants to create an intranet with access to certain material that is one thing. the internet is probably the greatest tool we have right now for personal freedoms and full access must be protected at any cost.

The school is paid for by your taxes and rules are decided by the officials you elect. If you don't like what rules the people have elected to enstate, then either vote or run for office.

Otherwise, blocking content in schools provides a safe environment where students can learn. I dont agree with blocking political content or supressing Ideas (like the Great firewall of China lol), but blocking pron and adult sites makes sense in school.

Your "internet freedom" compromises the schools infrastructure when you click on the "FREE VIAGRA" banner. This is why sites are blocked, so when you claim that a school or business 'shouldn't' block sites, your logic is flawed.

no it is not. limiting a student to an intranet at school should be done. the student should not be on the internet for any reason at school.
