Accidently changed active partition in Disk Management

Hi all. So, I accidentally made C:/ the active partition and my computer wasn't able to boot. I used a Windows 7 disk to access the "repair my computer" option, which made it possible for my computer to boot again. When I went back to disk management after my computer booting successfully, I noticed that C:/ is now the active partition. Do I need to change this back again before restarting my computer or has Windows somehow made it so my computer boots from C:/ and not the System Reserved partition?

Thanks

You should be fine with as the active system partition. The repair "built the boot code" on the [C] drive to fix the boot problem. I don't use a System Reserved partition, so my boot code has always been on a "OS" partition. I don't know what use your System Reserved partition is now, and maybe it could be deleted ?

OK thank you! I'm not sure either, but it's only 100mb so might as well leave it there right?!

I don't know of any problems it will cause by leaving it there, as long as it's not also set to Active.

Just be aware, a HD can only have 4 Primary partitions, or 3 Primary partitions and unlimited Logical partitions.
If you ever do want more partitions on the HD, DON'T let it convert to Dynamic.
Right now, the System Reserved is one of those Primary partitions...that's just a heads up warning...

I'm not sure what you mean. How would that be different to the screenshot I included in my first post?
