Solved Acer aspireone D250 Webcam driver

From XP sp3,i updated to windows 7..but i cant use my webcam..Yahoo messenger can detect it but when i run the "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam"..it says "Camera not found"..i try to install and unistall different drivers from "2.2.2.2 to 5.2.5.3" -Suyit drivers..but nothing happened.. i also tried Liteon and Chicony drivers from Acer website. i googled around but every topic has no soultions..

Hi rigz, Did you install the software in compatibility mode http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html make compatible for XP It's very hard to get the old Acer webcams working correctly in Win7 alot of trial and error is required

Fixed! yes.. I downloaded windows XP Suyin driver..i think version 2. something(i hope i could find the source url again)..just googled around and find a version for XP 2. something and run it..please do not download this kind of driver from CNET because it does not have any Camera setup..i mean the "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe".. does not exist.After the installation of Suyin XP(2--)restart ..then right click the (Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe) Properties>Compatibility..below the tab :

Run this program in compatibility mode for :

Windows XP SP3. it now works.no freeze.no error.
