Hi,
We have Windows 7 64 bit with an Acer older laptop.
We are not sure what we did but our keyboard has changed in that we cannot use Ctrl + C to copy or Ctrl + V for paste and other functions. Also our mouse pad does not work anymore. We are using an external USB keyboard and it works fine with a USD wireless mouse and sometimes a USB wired mouse which work fine.
My question is what can we do to restore our laptop keyboard?
We do not have or original Windows 7 CD anymore.
We have tried to fix the mouse driver but I think I made it worse.
We have tried to update the HID keyboard device but Windows says it is up-to-date.
Same with PS/2 keyboard device.
Same with the mouse- up-to-date.
Could we hit some key combination that changed the keyboard settings?
We have looked in the Acer PDF but see not solutions.
Thanks,
