Hi there
just another idea -- is the Internet browser trying to logon to an account that needs a password / username to connect -- for instance you might be trying to connect for example to Vodafone_wifi when you log on -- sometimes when you use public Wi-Fi services your system will try and connect automatically when in range of these unless you uncheck the box connect automatically.

Cheers
jimbo

I thought that it could be one possible cause and that is why I mentioned that the only Password remembered by my system is that of SevenForums.

But it is now more or less clear (?) the root cause is OpenDNS which yes I have been using.

In any case this problem or nag occurs only occasionally and disappears on its own.So I really do not know whether it is worth any effort to keep it at bay.:geek:

Your ISP provides DNS service automatically.
Is it really necessary to use Open DNS?
