I've been having a troublesome, recurring problem with my network:
Usually my connection works fine for extended periods of time, but eventually an error will crop up asking for additional log on information, and the network will lose internet connection. Running Windows Network Diagnostics will come to the conclusion that I need to complete the log on process, and takes me to a blank browser page (since there's no internet connection). Rebooting/resetting the modem, router, computers doesn't seem to have an effect, and the problem usually just seems to go away on it's own.
But it always comes back. My ISP (Comcast) and router manufacturer (Asus) had no answers, and Comcast suggested I ask someone else.
Thanks for any help.
