The user account I normally use is called ". Don't know how that happened, but I always seemed to have admin rights with this account. I could install and uninstall programs, for instance.
Now I cannot uninstall a program with either of my "normal" accounts. I ran the Belarc Advisor which indicates both are admin accounts and also shows the "built-in" admin account is disabled (if I'm reading it right).
I've tried using an advanced command prompt to activate the admin account. Didn't work. I'm wondering if there's a registry fix I can do in Safe Mode or something like that.
Thanks for any suggestions. I'm hoping I don't have to re-image. One piece of advice I've already received is I should switch to Windows Professional 64x.
