Advice on a Cooler

they are self contained units. they come pre filled with water. all you do is attach the radiator to the case and place the block on the cpu. plug in the fan and pump into the mobo and its all fitted!

most companies dont use water, they use an non conductive coolant, so even if it did leak your components wouldn't be in danger.

you dont worry about a cpu fan failing and cooking your cpu, so why worry about a water leak

For me keeping that much mass and weight off the mobo is a huge reason to go with sealed water.

True, that was half of my reasoning for choosing a Sabertooth Z87 motherboard for the reinforced backplate. I knew I'd have a fairly beefy cooler hanging off it so it made perfect sense, plus it's a sexy looking board.

all that said I got NH-d14 today and its massive lol ............ not sure yet if it will fit in case too late in day to try antec mid height case doesn't say what it is on it

hey found product overview its a Antec One hundred ..... Minni-ITX micro ATX or standard ATX

Antec doesn't list the interior cooler height maximum but it appears that you should have no issues.
