Aero stopped working

Last Friday Aero stopped working.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest video driver.

when I undock my laptop, aero is working right away, when I dock again basic loads.

the autofix utility says not set to 32-bit color, but it is set to that, and also says the dwm service isnt running, it is, I have tried stopping and restarting the service to no success.

Weird issue I havent ran into before, but it is causing my mouse to lag just doing normal tasks like web browsing, this doesnt happen undocked when aero is working.

I know MS took hardware profiles out of vista and 7, but there has to be something similar that causes the computer to know what resolution to set the monitors to when I dock, and I assume if I can clear that file there is a 50/50 chance the problem will resolve itself

I work in IT, but this is a new issue to me, and all the normal things ive tried havent gotten me anywhere

Not that anyone gave me any suggestions, but I resolved the problem, not sure exactly what did it, I uninstalled AirDisplay(my only real guess) but I aslo completely removed any Nvidia driver files from the hard drive and windows registry, not sure which of the 2 did it because they were both done at the same time and aero worked again on the next reboot, if reinstalling airdisplay screws it up again ill post it, but I am guesing it was a combo that caused the problem
