There are no Windows 7-specific drivers listed, but, you can try Vista-compatible drivers at Sony's website...

Its sounds like you may be missing a driver or two that allow these functions to operate correctly

Check device manager and see if you have any entries with yellow caution symbols next to them, this is indicating that the device is not working properly
Firstly make sure you have enabled auto driver updating for windows updates - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2803-device-installation-settings.html
Then run windows updates to see if it can find any drivers for you
If it doesn't then you will need to go to Sony support for you laptop model and get drivers from there
