All Desktop icons gone

Hi.

I dunno what happened, I tried to burn something to a CD and all my desktop icons disappeared. I can't create any now either...

Could someone help me? I don't know what's causing this. Programs still run, so dunno...

If not fixed try a system restore perhaps.

If you right click on the desktop and select "view" is the option "show desktop icons" ticked. If it is you can untick it and then tick it again. I had a similar problem and that solution worked.
