I'm currently using a Logitech MX Performance mouse and about a week ago it started going off screen to the far right and getting stuck there for a few moments. I have to jiggle the mouse around until it reappears. It's stops like it's supposed to when it hits the left side of the screen. I tried a different mouse and the same thing happens.

Any ideas???

Check your Display Settings. If you have two monitors listed for any reason this can happen, as the mouse is "jumping" over to the other (real or phantom) screen.

THANK YOU!! In addition to my Asus the was a "generic Pnp" monitor option. I clicked the #1 monitor, clicked detect, and the generic option disappeared and all is well!

Now this is weird. After a MB change, different brand, with help from here getting up and running without having to reinstall Win 7, I noticed the mouse problem. I recently noticed I had the drivers for the old MB's sound drivers still installed along with the new ones. I uninstalled them, and the pointer problem went away. Actually the pointer works a lot smoother, etc. ???

Conflicting drivers can cause all sorts of weirdness. Make sure you clean up all old drivers.
