All programs crashing randomly, won't launch afterwards

like title says, most if not all my program are suffering some kind of chain reaction crash bug. One will crash and then every other one that's also open will crash too and none of them work afterwards until I reboot. I have a fairly new ASUS F75VD laptop running 7 Home Premium x64 SP1..

I noticed a problem with IE9 where I would get the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" popup and in the URL box it says ieframe.dll acr_error. IE would then go into a loop trying to restart itself only to crash again, and after a few minutes it would just fix itself somehow. Then it started crashing every open program too, and now other programs like Chrome, VLC, iTunes will freeze and crash along with everything that's open. Afterwards Chrome just crashes over and over, VLC does too. Nothing will launch until I restart the laptop

I tried to solve the ieframe.dll error by following some advice on another site which said to delete it, but now instead of getting a "has stopped working" popup, I get nothing and the program(s) just closes. I've ran multiple scans with MS Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Pro in safe mode with no results.. I don't know what to do now.. It doesn't happen too often, just enough to be really annoying since it closes literally everything

any ideas?

forgot to add another thing: By their recommendation I updated my graphics card driver, an NVIDIA GeForce 610M, and now my Windows Experience Index Rating has dropped to 5.9

when I try to re-rate, it says 'Could not measure your video playback performance' and the only option is Close

Who is 'their' recommendation? You can't just delete .dll files and expect things to work. Uninstall all the Nvidia drivers from control panel, uninstall programs. Uninstall every Nvidia graphic driver with the last deletion being the graphics driver.Download and install the latest Nvidia driver from Your model laptop on Asus site. When you install, if you have the option, choose custom install and make sure the clean install box is checked. Just install the graphics driver and the physx driver. Reboot, then run sfc /scannow (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html). It is a system file checker and will verify and attempt to repair corrupted or missing system files. If it says it cannot repair them, reboot and run it again. Try it three or four times. See if that makes it any better.

I meant NVIDIA recommended I update my outdated driver (the one I downloaded from ASUS).. I did what you said anyway, re-installed the old driver and the assessment still couldn't measure video playback.. I re-updated to the exact same new driver as before and the test went smoothly

I also ran SFC a few times, first time it repaired a few things but the 3 times after, everything was fine.. if I still get the random crashes I'll post again

It happened again today with IE10, I should also add that it always crashes when I close Internet Explorer, like something is interrupted and it causes the crash.. and it always says "res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm#[webpage]" in the URL box

I've disabled every add-on besides flash, cleared cookies, cache, etc.. still does it, not every single time, but pretty often
