Hi all, I have had a Toshiba L750 for about three years. Initially I upgrded it from Win 7 home 32bit to Win 7 Pro 64 bit and generally I have been happy with it. I prefer to use Internet Explorer 9, even though I have tried IE10 and IE11 plus Chrome and Firefox.

About a month ago I removed the standard HHD and put in a new 480GB SSD and did a fresh install of Win 7 Pro and SP1 and hopefully all relevant Toshiba drivers.

Sometimes windows dont open maximised so I would do Alt + spacebar the "X" to maximise the window, and that works on all but IE9. I know it worked on my old HDD, but not the SSD with the fresh install.

Typically hitting Alt + spacebar will bring up a small menu, but not with IE9.

Is there some setting I need to enable in IE9 or maybe the Registry?

Hoping for a solution, regards, Phil.

Hi welcome to the forum I would upgrade to ie11 as ie 9 is not supported. it is a security risk using IE9
