Solved Alternative to Excel?

Hi - can someone recommend an alternative to Excel? Hopefully a freebie, as I almost never need to do spreadsheets. Looking for something that had the ability to edit and save files - not just read.

Both are basically cousins

Never was a huge fan of OpenOffice. Unfortunately, it is the next-best comparable product though. Nothing really is the same as Excel though.

If you had to have another program other than Excel, and you're hoping for free, I would concur, OpenOffice would be the better choice.
