Researchers at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) in Berkeley, California, have built a website that studies internet connections. Just visit the ICSI Netalyzr website, click 'start analysis' (uses a Java applet). The site will take a few minutes to probe your internet connection, and provide a detailed report.

Mmm Interesting. The only problem I seem to have for the future is IPV6.
IPv6 Tests +
DNS support for IPv6 (?): OK
IPv4, IPv6, and your web browser (?): No IPv6 support
IPv6 connectivity (?): No IPv6 support
Not sure what I can do about it though or indeed if I need to do anything.

Thanks Guy for this useful tool.
@kado897
You don't need to do anything about ipv6, it'll be handled by your ISP when the need arises I guess. I've read somewhere that they'll start using ipv6 when the space of ipv4 runs out or something similar.

You're welcome. The main issue may be whether your router will support ipv6 once your ISP begins rolling it out. For now, it isn't a worry. A Guy

Thanks. The router was supplied by the ISP so hopefully they will fix it when the time comes.

Yours looks like mine. The important names thing can be explained by a hosts file, or ad blocker. Your buffering is higher then mine, but I got the same warning. I suspect most would have similar. My internet is plenty fast

Another good one.
I got a few warnings (UPnP being one.) I'm assuming this is because I'm hiding behind the stealth settings on the router. Does that sound like a good assumption?

I would think that would make sense. They expect ports to be open for responses, etc.
