Every day I get at least one email with the new .icu extension which all seem to be unsolicited stuff.

So far I've sent them all to the Junk folder since I am very selective in what I open and if I don't recognize the sender or subject, I don't want it.

Is there any reason Not to block the entire .icu extension?

Are you running anti virus software?. If not this might be a reason. There are many AV programs available, so a web search should point you towards one that suits you. I use Microsoft Security Essentials, which suits me. You could also download a free version of Malwarebytes & run it. Be sure to check if other software may be downloaded with Malwarebytes & avoid it.

After you have down AV scans & a Malware scan, you can then block receiving junk mail from various sites in Outlook. To do that refer to the discussion we had on your other Post about deleting junk emails.

Ranger4,

I have both Vipre AV and Malwarebytes.
I'm not really all that familiar with .icu extension but I'm going to block all *.icu

Thanks again

I can't see anything genuine coming from a .icu domain - I vote block it.

It's just another domain name..
I think assuming nothing genuine coming from one is unreasonable...

Plenty of stuff not genuine coming from .com domains also..You block them too?
