Any way to host a RDC from starter?

I have a netbook that I keep at home, and it has windows 7 starter.. Is there any way to force it to act as a host for remote desktop connection?

Faster than yours, maybe.
You would have to use something else like VNC if you wanted to be the server that you are connecting to.

Well, I want to do this to get past some sites blocked by my school. I would rather not leave my desktop on all day, thats why I want to use my laptop for it. Less power used and less noise ect..

It's unlikely that if your school is blocking certain sites, that they aren't also blocking outbound RDP (TCP 3389).

I'm not going to provide information and help to circumvent policies at your school. Perhaps if it's blocked, it's for a reason and you should be doing something else with your time. Or, perhaps you can suggest that some of your sites be allowed and provide valid reasons for it's need. Often times, sites are not blocked intentionally, but rather under a whole category and the IT staff will review requests on an as needed basis. I work in IT and that's the way we do it. Some sites are blocked and don't need to be...but since it comes from a giant list that we subscribe to...sometimes it's a bit on the over zealous side.

That's the tough part then, Laptop with Starter just won't cut it.

Well, if those programs can be run from a flash drive, that would be fine, but installing programs is what is blocked
