Although it MIGHT work and upgrade from xp to windows 7, it is HIGH UNSUGGESTABLE. Upgrades are extremely prone to error. To upgrade from a version of windows that is almost a decade old is very very dangerous. it can cause a highly corrupted windows 7 installation. Use at your own risk ;)
