From the past 2 days I am getting this wierd popup with title 'dllhost.exe - Application error' and the message 'The instruction at 0x773d4775 referenced memory at 0x564f48ec. The memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate. Click Cancel to Debug. '
I don't see any program getting affected, but the popup is annoying and I am worried this is an OS issue.
The error also comes with 'taskeng.exe'.
The dialog starts showing on the welcome screen even before I login.
In the last 2 days I have not installed any program or changed any settings. The only change I remember are: Windows 7 automatic update happened and my antivirus (avast antivirus v 5.1) got updated. I tried closing the Av program, but the error messages persist.
Please help in identifying and resolving the issue.
Thanks.
