Archicad 6.5 windows 7 text display issue

I have a customer that insists on using a very old version of archicad, the problem is that in windows 7 the text doesn't display correctly "60 cm. away" appears on the screen "cm. away 60".
This problem did present in windows XP also but is fixed by deselecting "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages"

There does not seem to be a similar option that fixes it in windows 7.
I have no additional languages installed, all the regional options are set the same English NZ.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I think if he insists on using that, and it even works, he is lucky. It looks like ver 10 is the oldest version that might be compatible with Windows 7
