Solved Are changes permanent using takeown/icacls?

As the title states, are changes permanent using takeown or icacls?
Does it weaken windows security?
I'm asking because sometimes, when I make a "lite" version of 7, I need to remove several files that require ownership. Instead of just applying onwership to those files only, I usually end up taking ownership of the whole windows folder.

Permanent? Yes.

Weaken security? Depends. If you're altering permissions for critical files, then there's a good chance it weakens it. Example: some people would like to set the Windows folder to Everyone:F. Obviously, if everyone can modify it, what prevents a virus or malicious program to alter it?

As far as making it "lite", I'm sure there's a tutorial here somewhere that can help you create a "lite" version of Windows 7 so that you don't have to take ownership of the whole Windows Folder.

Now if only I or someone could find it... XD

I'm using dism to remove packages and vlite to remove the rest of the components but there are some leftovers that I want to remove.
